Self Compressive Screws

Intended purpose :

The implants of the Activ Ankle range are intended for the fixation of fractures, osteotomies and pseudarthroses of the distal and the

diaphyseal fibula, the distal tibia and for the syndesmotic repair in adults.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy.
  • Acute or chronic, local or systemic infections.
  • Allergy to one of the materials used or sensitivity to foreign bodies

PRECONTOURED IMPLANTS

Ø4.0 mm:

  • 2 types of cannulated screws available:
  •  –  Partially threaded: self-compressive screw; Thread length: 10-16 mm
  •  –  Fully threaded: non-compressive positioning screw
  • Lengths: – Partially threaded screws: 26 to 38 mm (2 mm increment) and 40 to 50 mm (5 mm increment)
  •  –  Fully threaded screws: 30 to 38 mm (2 mm increment) and 40 to 50 mm (5 mm increment)
  • Pin: Ø1.3 mm

Ø6.0 mm:

  • 2 types of cannulated screws available:
  •  –  Partially threaded: self-compressive screw; Thread length: 16-20 mm
  •  –  Fully threaded: non-compressive positioning screw
  • Lengths: 40 to 100 mm (5 mm increment) 
  • Pin: Ø1.6 mm

Ø8.0 mm:

  • 2 types of cannulated screws available:
  •  –  Partially threaded: self-compressive screw; Thread length: 16-20 mm
  •  –  Fully threaded: non-compressive positioning screw
  • Lengths: 40 to 100 mm (5 mm increment) 
  • Pin: Ø2.5 mm
